[So here they are in Japan! Eichi and Hiyori are idols already; Akechi and Yona are... getting there. Shut up, it's fine. Anyway, let's pretend classes just let out for the day and Yona has lured Hiyori to a cafe on the pretense of hanging out after class.
She's also done the same with Eichi and Akechi. She just, uh, hasn't told Hiyori that Eichi's going to be here.
She should probably do that now that Hiyori is here and can't just go home.]
--oh, by the way, I invited Eichi and Akechi. There they are! [AND NOW SHE'S WAVING THEM OVER.] You two! Over here!
[Eichi's health is less than ideal, but with medication now, he's at least able to stay out of the hospital. He'd been admitted his first day back, and after that, free again— and now that he was going to meet up with Hiyori, he intends to keep that as hidden as possible.
Of course, he barely wants to go to this at all. Yona is a sweet girl, and he'd like to be able to snatch her out of Hiyori's clutches, but considering she already goes to his school, rather than Eichi's... that's a bit difficult. Not to mention, their relationship. Still, as he'd told Akechi just moments before arriving here, it's important to go to things you dislike, if it's strategically important.
For example, Yona seems like the type of person to blurt anything, so they could learn some valuable information. Even if Eichi won't be working with Hiyori later in the year, Trickstar will, and he'd like to provide some helpful tips.
For now, walking alongside Akechi and lifting his hand in a cheery wave, he smiles brightly, basking in the delighted realization that this must be a surprise for Hiyori.]
[if anything, spending time with Eichi in HIGH SCHOOL IDOL SURVIVOR has made Akechi admire him even more. he's truly cunning and calculating, ruthless to the very last drop. . . a side of him that had peeked out at him during their time at the castle, but had only made itself more clearly known now. it's beautiful. it's stunning]
[and Akechi covets the fact that only he is the one who gets to stand by Eichi's side during all of this]
[the line about needing to do thinks one dislikes in order to obtain a strategic advantage is a line Akechi has told himself many times before. and that is how he manages to accompany his charmingly devious boyfriend to a meeting that neither of them are interested in attending. all for the sake of strategy]
[. . . and for Yona herself, he supposes]
Good afternoon.
[Akechi greets, right on the heels of Eichi's cheery "hi."]
