I've, I've been here for a few days now? And so has the Princess. Uh, Rapunzel, I mean.
[ varian is throwing hiro a confused look right back for his expectant one, but he does hail someone to take his spot at the cash so he and the others can move on to somewhere else.
he does not say anything about why he was working here ]
Yona!!! [ rapunzel shrieks again, earning the ire of all of the people in line. and yet, she's not stepping out, she just pulls yona to her spot, nearly crushing her in the bear hug before finally setting down. ]
Hiiii!
[ she says, like she just didn't utter a string of gibberish. ] What do you want? What do you all want? I'll buy it!
[ varian works here but okay. also, if yona or hiro are expecting answers from her, they're not happening. ]
At least one of them has money. Yona keeps her arms around Rapunzel and allows herself to be drawn into the line, but once they're there, subtly tries to shift the other princess over to Hiro's table with another apologetic glance sent the way of the other cafe patrons.]
Um... A macchiato sounds interesting, but I think maybe I should just have water. Is that okay? [She glances from Rapunzel to Varian to Hiro. Help. Please help her corrall the princess.] And then we should go somewhere quiet to catch up.
[This is exhausting. He's a little nervous Rapunzel's going to break something (or get their bones broken by pissing people off somehow) but she settles on her own and he shakes his head.]
Uh. [Since they're at Lucky Cat, apparently, according to Britt when this was set up, he takes a quick glance around for his aunt before he gets an idea.] Water for everyone but especially Rapunzel and then we can head to the garage and figure everything out. Head out the door and to the right, I'll let you in through the side door.
