Yeah. In a good way, but...I don't know. Do you ever wonder how things would be different if we met when we were already these people instead of those ones?

I'm easier to get along with now. [probably] We would have made friends sooner.

We would have. [He can't deny that, but he's biased.] Things weren't super great for me back home either, but...if they were. If I knew then what I know now, maybe that whole thing wouldn't have been such a pain.

But then again, then I wouldn't have had a reason to come find you. [Because he's starting to think this really wasn't so much of an accident.]

I guess. I just...kinda wish I understood those reasons, you know? Something like this shouldn't have even been possible, but because it is it opens up a lot of other things. That's the weird part.
