[diseyland exists in bh6verse so they're doing this
anyway. unfortunately for hiro, they're not even in the park yet - but yona's looking around excitedly as they approach the park entrance, swept up in the energy of all the freaking people here. she is holding onto hiro's hand lest they get split up.
--wait, why are there two gates?]
They have another park right across the street from Disneyland! How long has that been there?
Uhh...years? [It's like 2030-something so it's been a long-ass time.] California Adventure was installed way before I was born.
[He doesn't mind holding hands. He doesn't mind keeping Yona close, and he doesn't mind the backpack he's wearing that contains a compact Baymax. The armor has been stored and a pod picked it up, ready for Hiro to call upon it again whenever he was ready to leave the park. That won't be for several hours though.
It's relatively early and he's just as excited even if he's a little more lowkey about it. He has to keep cool...that'll last until they get through the gate though.]
But the cool thing is we have tickets for both of them so we can start wherever you want.
[It's not the first time Yona has (wrongly) thought this, but Hiro is really too cool. She can barely contain her excitement, but he's acting like this is just the most normal thing in the world.
Let's start with this one! [let's just have them breeze past the bag check... though how they're going to get baymax past the metal detectors is beyond me....... anyway] Which part of the park is your favorite, Hiro?
[BAYMAX IS DOING HIS BEST, waddling after the kids and trying not to get stuck in the turnstile. It's a time in the world where literally nobody else blinks when Hiro wanders around with a robot, so we can assume Disneyland's the same, technically. He gets his ticket scanned and he practically bounces through the turnstile, letting more of his excitement show as he turns back and waits for Yona.]
Tomorrowland. [His eyes are bright and he's immediately launching into full-on nerd.] It's really cool, they have all kinds of stuff like Space Mountain and Star Wars and they brought Innovations back which is the best place to check out all kinds of advancements in science and technology.
[Hiro's not cool, Yona please get better taste in men.]
[princess "questionable taste in men" yona will never get better taste in men]
Hmmm... let's go see Innovations!
[Maybe if she learns a little more about science and technology she'll be able to keep up with the things Hiro talks about when he works on his inventions... She's going to take his hand again and pull him into a run, not thinking about much of anything aside from how she's going to have a great day with one of her favorite people.]
[At least it means she's getting a laugh out of him, a real one that's different than his half-hearted chuckles or incredulous laughs. He doesn't mind, adjusting his grip in her hand and tugging her forward to head down Main Street, heading for the sidewalk to try and avoid some of the crowds. Baymax follows along.]
Why don't you let me lead this time? I memorized the map already.
[hiro is a nerd, he's not cool. but yona thinks he's cool, so he's cool! ...she's glancing back and forth between the shops lining Main Street as they walk, but she's careful to keep up with him and not get separated.
if that means holding tightly onto his hand, that's fine]
There are five different "lands" or landmarks in the park. We're going to Tomorrowland first, but there's Adventureland, Frontierland, New Orleans Square, and Fantasyland. [There's also Critter Country but he doesn't care to mention that.] You'll probably like Fantasyland best. They have the castle--see? [He points down the end of the street toward Sleeping Beauty's castle.]
Fantasyland's where all of the princesses live, too.
[She has about ten questions immediately, the first of which is "Why is it New Orleans Square and not something that ends in 'land' like the others," but instead of interrupting him she stays quiet for his explanation, and her gaze follows where he points to the castle at the end of the streets.
Her eyes narrow slightly as she looks at all of the people coming and going.]
...if there are princesses living there, where are all the guards?
[her palace was full of guards just for one princess, but then again, her dad was paranoid and the ruler of an actual kingdom, not a theme park]
Uh. I mean there're security guards wandering around somewhere I think but they should be fine? The princesses seem pretty capable of taking care of themselves.
[Hiro Hamada probably had at least 1-2 crushes on a few princesses pre-Yona.]
Yonaaa. [It's dragged out, teasing even as he leads them straight into Tomorrowland.] First of all, we've got all day. Second of all we're definitely going to Innovations first. No offense.
[A beat.] Besides, I already saw my favorite princess today so the other ones can wait.
[Yona makes a choking noise, her cheeks flushing nearly as red as her hair as she follows Hiro straight into Tomorrowland. Did he really just say that? Really? God, why is she blushing?]
Is it so bad to surprise you like that? [They're still holding hands wtf does she expect.] I could give you a warning next time but that kinda seems pretty lame.
I can if you really want me to. But I can't promise it'll sound that good. [He swings their hands gently and pulls her along to Innovations. He's excited for nerd shit, but he's also excited that he's with Yona so there's that.] How long do you think it'd take you to get used to it?
It'll get easier with practice! [Like. Just saying, Hiro!! ...but she's equally excited to be spending time with him, so she laces their fingers together as he swings their hands and pulls her along.] And, I'm not sure. I heard that kind of thing a lot from people back home, but they were just saying it to get in my father's good graces, so...

Mulan probably taught them. She was in the army for a while, I bet she knows all kinds of martial arts.
