[Her expression falters for a moment, but then she smiles.]

You have time, it's not until June. [...ah. He notices the falter and he wonders what that's about.] ...your dad's like a king though, right? It's kind of cool that he tried.

[She doesn't say much more about it, though. She's avoided talking about her father too much since coming for a visit, so... that's pretty much normal at this point.

Anyway. There's a little bit of silence and it feels awkward, so she's just going to change the subject.]

Hmm...we have the living room and the bedroom and bathroom left. I'm not even sure what is in the bathroom of the future? It sounds kind of weird.

Would it have flying toilets or something? ...wait, that wouldn't work.

[where would it all.. go... she's just not going to think about that]

Ooh, but maybe they'll have baths that are like hot springs! Let's go look at them.

Wouldn't that just be an outdoor bath? [Guess they're heading that way. Unfortunately it's just beautiful light fixtures and waterfall showers, but they tried their best.]

No? Because if it's outdoors it's not really in the house of the future, is it? But maybe it's inside and they use that virtual reality stuff you talk about to make it seem like it's not.

[...oooor it can just be fancy lights and showers.]

That's not as exciting.

[There's a slight laugh.] It's okay. The design's pretty energy efficient, look. See these bulbs? They use less fuel to power themselves to brighten up the space, so you can leave them on just as long without using natural resources. And waterfall showers are pretty sweet.

It sounds more interesting when you explain it like that. You're so cool, Hiro.

[says the princess with questionable taste in men]

[He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.] I don't know if I'd call it cool, but thanks. I can explain whatever you want.

[Mistakes were made! He's going to explain everything in the bathroom of the future, eventually leading her into the bedroom of the future with high-end furniture, lights and windows. The rest of the exploration of Innovations probably takes as long as it does because Hiro likes to talk and explain everything he knows. They go through the house and they go through the science experiments, Hiro explaining all the while.

It's about an hour later or so when they venture outside again, Hiro blinking a little against the bright sunlight even while he grasps for Yona's hand. You know. So they don't get separated.]

...Tomorrowland also has the best rides in the whole park.

[Ew, it's too bright out here. Yona gladly takes his hand, though - and not just because there are a lot of people around and they don't want to get separated.]

I think you said... they have one called Space Mountain, right? I want to go on that one!

[Even if she, uh.

Doesn't see any mountains around here, except for the Matterhorn in the distance.]

Yeah! It's the best one. But you're not afraid of the dark, are you? [Yona's never been on a roller coaster, he assumes. He's actually interested in how this is going to go, and luckily for them Innovations is literally right next to Space Mountain. Off they go to hit the line.]

Umm...

[She is, a little. But she's gonna pretend she's not. The line isn't terribly dark, so it's fine, right.]

You're here, so even if it's dark I'll be fine!

That's not very reassuring, you know. [There's a short grin.] The dark doesn't last for too long. Just for the entire ride. But it's kind of like flying through space really fast.

[Yona chooses not to comment on "it won't last too long, just for the entire ride" even though it's really funny. Instead, she looks sort of excited.]

I can't wait to see what it's like to fly!

...this is a really long line, huh.

It's only sort of flying...but yeah. The wait can kind of take forever. But at least the weather's nice? [...give him a second before he perks up.] We can play a game while we're waiting though.
